Rae Lindenberg, Featured ATC Alum & ATC Teaching Staff
Meet Rae Lindenberg! Now a member of the Actors Training Center teaching staff, Rae has been growing with ATC for over a decade – from being a student herself, to pursuing a professional acting career, to becoming an intern and then office staff, she knows ATC inside and out. Actors Training Center is proud to highlight Rae Lindenberg as a Featured Alum.

Rae first visited ATC for a Free Class Day in 2009. 15 years later, ATC still offers trial classes; Free Class Day was most recently held in December of 2024. Back at the start of her ATC journey, Rae recalls taking an improv class and an on camera class during her free trials, ultimately deciding before the lessons were over that ATC was the artistic home for her. Thrilled by the “welcoming yet challenging environment,” Rae recognized that ATC “is for people who want to be here – we weren’t stuck together in some school production. All of the students really want to succeed, and know that you’ll get out of it what you put into it.”
Over the years, Rae has taken countless courses at Actors Training Center. In 2011, she completed ATC’s renowned Professional Summer Intensive program, which helped her launch her career and pursue a college degree in the arts. As an adult actor, Rae has returned to adult classes and intensive workshops and encourages other mature actors to do the same, especially after the Covid-19 pandemic, saying “this is a part of me getting through a tough time. What a loss it was to not be creative in this way, or with other people at all. I missed the community I had formed at ATC. Every opportunity I have to come back here, I do.”

True to her word, Rae always returns to ATC. After graduating high school, Rae became a summer intern at ATC, assisting with the Professional Summer Intensive Program in 2014 & 2015 – a program that she had already completed herself. Upon graduating college, Rae was offered an administrative position in the ATC office. After 4 years of dedicated work, she parted ways with the ATC administration team, but stuck around to take as many classes as she could. In 2024, Rae returned as a staff member to teach her very first class at ATC, Youth On Camera.

In her experience outside of the Actors Training Center organization, Rae has picked up tips and tricks to pass along to the next generation of actors. When asked for her best advice for young or new actors, Rae doubled down on her dedication to building a community, saying “you need the support system of being able to call another working actor for feedback. I put aside any competition or resentment and decided to be the biggest cheerleader for my competitors. If you have enough confidence in the work that you are doing to better yourself, you don’t need to be watching others. When you find your people and the environment you thrive in, don’t let that go anytime soon.”
Rae Lindenberg Teaching Youth On Camera: Comedy + Drama at ATC, 2025
In 2025, Rae is leading Youth On Camera: Comedy + Drama with several students returning from her first class and multiple students attending their first ATC class after Free Class Day! This full-circle moment in her career has reminded her that growth outweighs perfection. “There’s inherent trust in someone who is honest about the gaps in their experience. I’m a student who also happens to be a teacher, they’re not mutually exclusive. Being able to take from what I’ve learned, pulling from all systems, and convey those lessons in a beautiful and expressive way is an incredible first teaching experience.”
Actors Training Center is proud to highlight ATC teacher Rae Lindenberg as a Featured Alum. Rae’s experience represents the kind of community fostered within the walls of ATC. As a final note, Rae expresses that “being part of the educational team means more to me than I can put into words without being too cliche. I can’t describe it with the true gravity it deserves. This place is transformative in more ways than one.”
