It is your responsibility as a professional actor to familiarize yourself with your Unions so that you can make a decision on:
- How to join
- When to join
- What membership entails
- What the benefits of membership provide
*All actors should know that they can audition for BOTH union AND non-union jobs even if they are a NON-UNION actor! Producers are allowed to hire who they want for the job!
*If you are non-union and book a union job, you will receive a Taft-Hartley Waiver, at which point you may be eligible to join the union.
