This fall, we invite experienced young performers to dive deeper into the art of spontaneous storytelling in our Teen Improv Troupe. Each rehearsal, students sharpen core improv principles: yes, and, active listening, and staying present in the moment. While laughter is guaranteed, the challenge lies in staying connected, making bold choices, and supporting the ensemble. The session culminates in a public performance in the Black Box Theatre at Piven in the Noyes Cultural Arts Center. Admission is by invitation only. New students will attend a group audition structured much like our improv rehearsals are. Auditions take place on Thursday, September 3rd.
