Scene Study Through New Works

This brand new class taught by Mark Ulrich is focused on scene study through new plays. How does an actor begin their text analysis and dramaturgical process on a piece that hasn’t had a life yet? Throughout 8 weeks students split their focus between breaking down two full plays. First, tacking play analysis and table work, followed by getting scenes up on their feet with a partner.
